Privacy Statement for Online Meetings and Webinar recordings
TUS may collect your personal data where you attend Webinar or Online teaching sessions.
A recorded Webinar is a recording of an online event (e.g. Conference; Training; Teaching; Information).
Webinars will be recorded by the Host or their nominee. In webinars where participants can be identified or recorded, attendees will be given the opportunity to opt out from attending, turn their camera off, and anonymise their name on their screen. Notification that the recording is starting will be displayed on your screen when the recording commences.
Following the session these recordings will generally be made available to view by all the attendees. Where these are student programme based webinars they will be provided on the Moodle platform for reference and download by other students.
Public webinars will also be made available to a wider audience via the TUS website, and other TUS online platforms. This means that the webinars are available for download. In general, these webinars will not include recording of attendees.
Training webinars may record the attendees and will also be circulated to all those who registered to attend the session.
The webinar file will be used for the purpose for which it was collected. You should note that webinar sessions that are downloaded by other individuals may be circulated outside of TUS.
